Digital Marketing Tips 101 | Google is reading everything.

Digital Marketing Tips 101 | Google is reading everything.

Google is reading every word on your website. Your clients aren’t.  Make sure your copywriting is SEO friendly. So what does that mean exactly?

When you are producing content for your webpage, make sure you use words that google will recognize and find relevant to your business. There are many words that are directly related to your business, but probably also a lot that are surrounding it which can be good to include. F ex. If you are selling home decor. Words like home decor, red vases and ornament might be directly related to products on your page. But also words like renovation, interior design and outdoor interior might be relevant for the person searching for your products.

Also keep in mind that the competition for being on the first page of Google is way harder for some words than for others. So make sure you target more niche keywords. It might be impossible for you to reach the first page on Google for home decor unless you are using Paid Ads, but maybe rustic home decor or home decor for small apartments will be easier. Using more specific keywords, so called long tail keywords, will make it easier for your page to rank higher on google as the customer searches for that specific term.

Don’t be afraid to mention relevant keywords for Google to see even though it might not be the most natural way of writing it. Clients don’t read everything on your webpage. And also they are used to this way of reading online.
